Hello guest
Your basket is empty
occasion decorations
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake….whatever cocktail you fancy!
Whenever I have a cocktail I feel rather sophisticated…maybe that’s because normally I’m a pint of lager kind of girl! My go-to cocktail is Sex on the Beach and I’m a bit nervous to step out of my comfort zone…especially when I’m out as the they aren’t the cheapest of drinks. So this year I’m planning on being more adventurous and serve a few different cocktails at our Halloween dinner party – but do we go posh or ‘fun’? Here are a few recipes that I’m thinking of….
Bloody Mary Syringes

Ingredients:

2 cups tomato juice
8 oz. vodka
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. horseradish
2 tsp. hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions:

In a large bowl, combine tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire, horseradish, hot sauce, lemon juice, and pepper. Whisk to combine.

Fill syringes with mixture and chill. Serve cold.
Sweet Poison Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 oz. light rum
2 oz. coconut rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 handful ice
pineapple juice
Pineapple wedge (for garnish)
Directions:

Combine both rums and Blue Curacao in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake, then pour into a cocktail glass.

Fill the rest of the glass with chilled pineapple juice.

Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
Drunken Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients:

For the Reese's-infused vodka:
1 cup vodka
1/2 c. Reese's Pieces

For the cocktail:
Ice
3 oz. Reese's-infused vodka
3 oz. milk
2 oz. Chocolate Liqueur
1/4 cup peanut butter, for rimming glass
1/2 cup crushed Reese's Pieces, for rimming glass
2 Reese's peanut butter cups, for garnish
2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
Directions:

In a mason jar, combine vodka and Reese’s pieces. Cover with tight-fitting lid and shake. Refrigerate overnight, then strain.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then pour over strained vodka, milk, and chocolate liqueur. Shake until chilled.

Put peanut butter on one small plate and crushed Reese's Pieces on another. Dunk tops of two cocktail glasses in peanut butter then roll in crushed Reese's Pieces.

Drizzle about a tablespoon of chocolate syrup into each glass. Divide cocktail mixture between glasses and garnish each with a peanut butter cup.
Poison Apple Cocktail

Ingredients:

1/3 cup apple cider
1/3 cup cranberry juice
2 oz. fireball
1 oz. grenadine
1/4 tsp. edible gold glitter
Ice
Directions:

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker, then fill shaker with ice.

Shake until contents are mixed and shaker is cold, about 30 seconds.

Pour into glass and serve.
Bloody Eyeball Cocktail

Ingredients:

2 oz Candy Corn Vodka, chilled
1 large Marshmallow
Dash Marshmallow Creme
1 Candy Eye
3 drops Red Food Colouring
Directions:

In a 2-ounce shooter glass, pour Candy Corn Vodka (see instructions below on how to make Candy Corn Vodka if you do not have any).

Take a standard size marshmallow and put a dab of marshmallow creme on top and press a single candy eye onto that marshmallow creme.

Place the marshmallow with candy eyeball in the shooter glass eyeball side up.

Drizzle a few drops of red food coloring on the marshmallow to give it a ghoulish bloodshot eye effect.

Serve chilled.
